Love
Love, came to me a while ago and I was not ready
Too much craziness and drama going on so I sent you away
Drama and baggage is not cute
There was still a ton of things I needed to do
I was in the middle of battle with several Goliaths and there were dragons to slay
Now that God has dealt with my enemies and put them at bay
I can at least return the hello
How are you?
I feel the knock of love on my door asking me if I can come out and play
No, not yet because now I am busy
But I wanted love to know that I am thinking about you
I am not jaded or bitter or angry at all
I am simply taking my time and getting all my ducks in a row
I love, love
I am good with love
Very, very good actually
And love has been good to me
Just give me a little longer
to purge and cleanse and relish in being free
And when I am ready you can come and I will surrender willingly
