This is a wonderful country. The land of the free and the home of the brave. Despite what our critics say, this is the best nation in the world and our judicial system comes second to none. In our country you can state your case before a judge. If someone owes you money and refuses to pay, you can file a small claims suit. If you are victimized you can call the police and file a report and action will be taken. Our country is a place where justice always prevails. I simply love being an American. Our system is fair and it works. There is a perceived disadvantage to our process. Anyone can make any kind of allegation and say almost anything. You can be accused of all sorts of unsavory acts but there is a catch....a kicker. When you are making an allegation with that also comes a responsibility to prove your case...or burden of proof. Ahhh, that is where the justice comes in. You can basically say anything you want but proving it is another matter and if you fail to meet that burden of proof the action is dismissed. Some people may get agitated or irritated with our process. Folks filing motions, making claims and putting others in a position to defend themselves but to that I say "burden of proof". If you know you have not done anything wrong, say that. Do not ever be intimidated by our process. Our courts are just, they are fair and our judges are wise. That is why they are judges. Trust the process and know truth, justice and righteousness always prevails. Always. That is what makes America great and that is why I love being an American. There is simply no other place I would rather be.
